Dr. Ned Gagic,
General Surgeon, FRCSC, FACS, Medical Director
Dr. Gagic is the sole owner of the Hamilton Vein Clinic. He has been dedicated to this
community for many decades. After graduating from the University of Belgrade he completed
his residency at McMaster University in 1973 and began a long career with the Hamilton Health
Sciences in the Department of Surgery since 1974 and Associate Clinical Professor of General
Surgery since 1977. He is past Chair of the Section of Surgery and Past President of the
Hamilton Academy of Medicine. Dr. Gagic is the Past President of the Medical Staff of the
Hamilton Civic Hospitals. In 1995, he became the first Surgeon to be recognized by the
Academic Dept. of McMaster University’s Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Surgery for
his postgraduate teaching and dedication to Education. He has received much recognition for
his work and was recipient of the Ontario Medical Association Honours & Awards “Dedicated to
Doctors Committed to Patients” in 2010. He was the recipient of the Medical Staff Advisory
Award for Distinguished Service in 2012.
Dr. Rammohan
Vascular Surgeon
Graduating from the University of Madras, Dr. Rammohan completed surgical training in the U.K. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and PhD from the University of Birmingham, U.K. for research in Laser Angioplasty. Dr. Rammohan immigrated to Canada and completed his surgical residency at McMaster University. Vascular Fellowship was completed at the University of Western Ontario and endovascular training was completed in Melbourne, Australia. Since 1995 he has been with Niagara Health (2007/8 in Buffalo NY). He is Associate Professor of Surgery (Clinical) and recipient of the surgical preceptor for the MD Class of 2004 along with the Sibley Award from McMaster University for distinguished teaching. Dr. Rammohan performs EVLT at the Hamilton Vein Clinic.
