Phlebectomy

Phlebectomy is a procedure where tiny incisions are made in the skin through which the vein is removed. This procedure is often performed along with EVLT.


High Ligation and Vein Stripping

This operation is performed under general anesthetic with a recovery time of 4 to 6 weeks with a 75% success rate.
This procedure is only performed on severe cases of varicose veins.
The procedures involves tying-off a vein in the groin area and removing the vein with multiple small cuts from the groin to just below the knee.
